Who we are

The restaurant industry is very near and dear to our hearts. For many of us, it’s the only industry we’ve ever known. Our industry has gone through many changes over the past year. We were forced to take a hard look at how we do things and what are priorities need to be. Now more than ever, food safety is at the top of that list. We have a passion to teach, coach, train and develop. We want to continue to spread that passion to the next generation.

At our core, we are all foodies. It’s not just about eating good food, it’s about the celebrations and memories it creates. “Breaking bread” or eating a meal with others, is a deeply personal way to foster a sense of belonging. Food is like a social glue. It brings us together for conversation, a time to catch up, a chance to connect with loved ones, and it fills our bellies as well. According to a report by Nielsen, the total amount of money spent on food away from home has risen 94% since 2003. The traditional family meal that used to happen in our homes is not happing around a table at your restaurant.
